INGREDIENTS:
• 2 slices of bread - we used Bloomer bread
• 180ml of Crackd No-Egg Egg
• 1 pack of Juicy Marbles fillet steaks
• 20g of vegan butter
• 3 cloves of garlic
• 2 sprigs of thyme
• gherkins
SAUCE:
• 2tbsp of vegan mayo
• 2tbsp of mustard
• 1 garlic clove
1. Coat your pan with vegan butter and fry two slices of bloomer bread until golden.
2. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan)
3. Pour 180ml of Crackd No-Egg Egg into a greased non-stick oven-proof pan and cook for 15/20 minutes in the oven
4. Once your bloomer is ready, set aside, but keep the pan on the hob.
5. Add a big knob of butter, x2 cloves of garlic and thyme to the pan. Place the Juicy Marbles steaks in the pan and follow the instructions on the packaging.
6. Once the steaks have cooked, transfer them to a board, let them rest for 5min, and cut them into strips.
7. In a small bowl mix mustard, mayo and minced garlic and set aside.
8. Place your bloomer slices on a plate, add your cut steak, followed by Crackd No-Egg Egg, and top with mustard & mayo sauce (or any sauce of your choice, really)
9. Add gherkins as a side snack
